The augur is made of heavy-duty steel for durability and strength and will not easily succumb to tough handling and drilling. It can dig up to 30cm deep depending on the model with a 7.5cm diameter hole and is compatible for use with most power drills. It will fit into a 13mm chuck perfectly. It can used in most ground surfaces including solid clay, gravel soil, sand and shale soil.
